Makeup Monday (A Day Late): Joys in the Life of Perpetual Upkeep Part 2.

PART 2

Well its time to share Part 2 of my do-it-yourself, beauty regimen. Last week I did a break down of my face routine and all the products I use. Today I figured I would cover the rest of my head regime. I'm sure you can guess what I'm talking about, in the pageant world they are your two best assets, Hair and Teeth. I mean what good is it to have a dolled up face if you aren't going to finish it off with pretty hair and a bright smile?

HAIR

Every Morning

Every morning when I burst out of bed (slowly and grumpily climb out of the covers) and greet the sunshine (keep the curtains closed and turn on one dimly lit lamp) I skip over (begrudgingly trudge) to the bathroom sink to make my hair pretty for work. I spritz my hair with a texturizing spray because I have wavy hair and I like to rock the tousled look. I then smooth out the top of my hair and my bangs with the flat iron.

1.) texturizing spray - Herbal Essences, tousle me softly, spray gel.

2.) flat iron - Vidal Sassoon

Every Night

When I take my shower at night and I wash my luscious locks (sorry I can't resist a good alliteration) I use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. It is all organic, not tested on animals, and smells like coconuts which is very appealing. After I dry off I run a few drops of anti breakage serum through my damp hair. It makes it all soft and shiny and helps cut down on the frizz in the  Florida humidity.

1.) Shampoo and Conditioner - Organix nourishing coconut milk

2.) anti breakage serum - Organix nourishing coconut milk

TEETH

This one is pretty self explanatory folks. Brush your teeth. you and everyone else will thank you. Here are my products:

Well that's it for the top half. Don't forget to brush your hair 100 times a day like Marsha Brady.

Evenin' yall, Kirsten.
