Its Monday Again?

Monday yuck. I did not want to wake up today. Well I don't want to wake up any day actually. I thrive in the night. My weekend was crazy productive though. I cleaned my studio and my bedroom, finished all of my laundry, FINALLY got my shipping scale in the mail for my shop (progress woo!), and my parents came to visit. My parents drove down from Ocala on Sunday to help my sister and I with some house hold maintenance. We finally took down our broken vertical blinds hooray! I have a severe aversion to vertical blinds. I absolutely hate them and think they're ugly on their own but ours were broken so they looked even worse. We went to Ikea and bought some new drapes. 

Not too shabby. They matched our existing rug and I love the hint of purple. They aren't ideal but they are an affordable solution for now and MUCH prettier than broken blinds. Bleh. I also bought this sheep skin throw. I thought I was buying the larger one to match the one I already have in my room as a rug but when I got home I realized it was about half the size! grr Ikea you always trick me. I cannot tell you how many times I bought something at Ikea thinking it was perfect and then brought it home and realized it was all wrong. I threw it over this chair and I do like it but I think I'm going to take it back because I really wanted another rug.
